What is Softlink Training?
Softlink Training (formerly known as CBT Computer
Based Training) is a series of self-paced, self-study,
hands-on training courses designed to guide you through
implementing Softlink Alice into your library. The
courses achieve this in various ways, including interactive
exercises, exams and detailed explanations.
Advantages
Softlink Training enables you to be trained at your
own pace, where and when you want to. Courses can
be repeated at no extra cost. Courses may be completed
on-site, which reduces travel and replacement staff
costs. When you purchase Softlink Training you receive
Exam Assessment ID's, which allows you to undertake
training exams via the Softlink Training Exam web
site.
Requirements
Softlink Training has been designed for Microsoft
Internet Explorer (IE) 5.0 and above. Other browsers
may not work successfully, but have not been tested.
IE 5.01 is included in the Softlink Training CD.
Modules
Softlink Training CD's are available for four different
modules in 4 CD's. This has been designed so that
the user can choose the module according to his requirement.
